Hello to all!
Since winter has set in now and I don't think I will be TH'ing any more this year, I thought I would share my best finds. I'll start with my 3rd favorite find and post number 2 and 1 later this week.
It's a nice 14kt Men's wedding band with 10 very nice and bright white diamonds. I found it on April 14, 2006 while searching a site that was used as a haunted forest attraction during the halloween season in 2003, 2004, and 2005. They set up hay bails and built sort of a maze thing in this small lot which is only about 40 feet wide by 120 feet long. I had a hunch it would be a good site and it turned out to be just that. I found two other rings there also, a charm bracelet, and a lot of clad. This site was being developed into a new strip mall which is now completed, so I seized the opportunity to hunt it before it was plowed under. I haven't had it appraised yet but it must have cost $600 to $1000 or more to buy new.
This was my third time out during 2006 and it was the start of a very good year of jewelry finds for me. Thanks for reading. Happy hunting. Everyone in the warmer climates, please share your finds because those of us enduring winter need our TH'ing fix
