Just bought this machine a couple days ago. Went to a local tot lot.

I was kinda jealous! Lol. He had about 6 kids following him around making trails to hunt in the wood chips...lol. only dug 2 junk items. One was a screw, and the other a pop can which I threw away there. Proud of him! Can barely swing the thing haha. 20170412_190950.webp

That's a great start!
I still love digging matchbox cars.

Great job, hope he had a lot of fun swinging that machine.

Atta boy! Not too shabby!

That's right... start the addiction early. :laughing7:

Awesome day for daddy and son.

Wow that's sweet!! I can imagine a 6 year old swinging. Good for him. He did better than I do on some hunts haha

Haha, yeah he kinda chokes up on it a little and the swing back and forth MIGHT be about 8 inches total....fun to watch. Can't wait tI'll he's just a little older. Should fit him decent.

Nice finds! Teaching minions to detect is just as fun, plus they get hooked on treasure early :icon_thumleft:

Cool, now when he gets older and asks for things tell him go find the money with the detector.....exercise away from video games.....nice

You know you can get the shorter divers pole and it would shorten it up quite a bit for him :-)

µmax Conquistador is my favorite competition detector. Have done quite well with it.

I gotta be honest guys. I'm new to the tesoro machines.....no screen ect. This thing is a freaking blast to use. I doubt it will go deep like my f75, BUT......I did yank out some clad from a small iron patch that I went with the f75. I think it will make a nice one two combo for old home hunts. Go for shallow coins with the conquistador, then follow up with the fisher for the deepies, and relics.

Another thing I love about the tesoro is how light and easy to swing it is. I'd like to get the mojave and give it a go too. Wonder what the differences would be with the two.
