My 6th capped silver for the year

Out this morning before the sun came up, beating around the edges of my best field. Found this half dime at 6 inches, had a hard time locating it with the pin pointer. It was in the very compacted dirt where they run the equipment all the time. I kept breaking the clods apart and passing them over the coil. Finally narrowed it down and located with pin pointer. Those little buggers are hard to find even after you find them. Good luck to all. Art

That is my total I never found one until I found the 2 half dollars back in February or March

I know how I felt when I found a my first and only one earlier this year, six has to feel super Great! Congrats!!
I know what you mean about finding them after you find them. Lol I chased mine around in the hole awhile with the pinpointer.

I've only found two in my ten years of detecting, a bust half dollar and a bust dime, and they were both found last year at old California sites.
