I just love the view I have! the horses were enjoying the sun, & the geese were on the pond, & the cat was up the trees. I spent most of the day gardening, you can't ask for a better day!

the pony is my neighbors. he & her 5 horses ended up in my front yard late one night. they found a break in the fence & decided my grass was greener. the other horses are in the field in back of my place with another neighbors herd, but they all picked on buckwheat cuz he is so small & old. so I get to keep him til she gets the fence fixed. most shetlands have a nasty disposition but not this one. he has been fun to have around.
we had our first thunderstorm last night along w/ the first tornado warning of the season. It was awesome! ('specially since we didn't have a tornado) so I'm glad I got outside yesterday cuz it's all mud today. soon I will be out looking for morels & poke! Yee haw!
