My Best Box today...

Hey all.. I have been CRH for quite awhile now but have never posted on this site.. Today I got my best box to date with 4 silver rosies and a 1968 canadian dime, so I felt inclined to post... I have read that the canadian dime might not be silver.. It definitely looks and feels like it.. Does anyone know how I can tell if it is in fact silver? Thanks for looking..

if it sticks to the magnet it is not silver. if it doesn't stick to the magnet, it is silver. be sure to try both sides of the magnet too.

See if the Canadian sticks to a magnet. If so, it's not silver.

I believe the 1968 Canadian dime is 50% silver.

I am actually living at the jersey shore for the summer.. I have a second box to hunt tonight after work... It was hard to leave the box and go to work after finding those keepers in the first box, but Watcha gonna do... Where are you guys located?

weigh it, should be 2.2g non silver should be 2.0 i think?

i am averaging 1 silver dime every $400-600 searched.
