Hit a street tear out today and I hit it. First hit was an 1896 Barber quarter, my day was made, but it got better. My next hit was a 1905 Indian and a couple of wheats one of which was a 1911. I then get a 12/45 and as I am digging I see a silver edge and out pops an 1877S seated quarter, now my day is really good. So I keep going and get a deep 12/42 and at about ten inches I see another silver edge and my second seated quarter emerges, an 1876. I then get a 1913 Buffalo Nickel and on my way back to my truck hit a 12/37 that I somehow missed and out pops an 1876 Indian. I have been detecting for over 30 years and had found a total of 2 seated quarters during that time and then today find two.
