My best find yet. 1831 South Carolina "Nullification" button *UPDATED PICS*
Yesterday afternoon my fiance and I went out for a dig. It was her first ever treasure hunt
We went to a house in town that was built in 1859. Long story short we dug this rare and beautiful button from under a swing set.

It is an 1831 South Carolina "Nullification" button
The pics do not show the quality of the piece at all and I will update them soon. The lettering and seal are very much legible and there is a bit of glit left on the lettering. It seems to be quite rare. I will be returning to the property soon
Happy Hunting!
UPDATE: Enjoy the pics!
