I have not been able to post much this last period, too much work, little time...
Here are my best of the last outings.

This is the best coin I have dug in a long time, Dinero of Alfonso X or Sancho IV (1277-1284). However it could be from Fernando III 1230. The specialist are not clear yet. Also its in amazing condition!!

These are PHILLIP IV, 8 Maravedis, and one of 2 maravedis. The first coin is a known mint mistake, with the 1551 date, the most rare of its kind

These are hammered maravedis, three from Phillip IV and one of Phillip III. Good dates on them, great condition!

Some other coins in good shape, the lower right two are Dinero Pepión "Bienpeinado" of Alfonso VIII (1158 - 1214)

A very unique roman or iberic fibula, in pretty good shape, any input from the experts here?

And last a couple of items, one I guess is a piece of a fibula, the other dont know

Cheers and thanks for looking

The fibula/brooch is a type I have not seen.8-)

Might have been better in the 'best finds' as some is 2 months old, although I will let you off this time:thumbsup:

Now, get out & post some recent finds.......

Congratulation!

Congratulation... interesting fibula, may be older than roman??

Lot of VERY nice finds for such a small country. Two thumbs up!

Thanks a lot, I will go hunting this week, I hope a couple of times, I will post the finds then.

Cheers

It really must be something finding coins dating back over a thousand years!! You have History over there!! Very envious!! Here in North America, to find coins from the 1700's would be an old find! For you guys in Europe, that would be considered a modern coin!! Congrats Nutriasub!! You have done well for yourself!
