My best week, a coin spill, 1668 coin & other silver.

I've been working near a 16th century church and in front of it there is a small football pitch. The first day i arrived at 7 a'clock and i was freezing but i found quickly 15 euro so at 8 a'clock went to work. I was thinking some kind of market was held there or any fair so yesterday finished work at 12 ant began searching. One hour and only 4 euros. Then i had a 71 to 75, usually it is for 1 euros or 10 cents but one after one came this old coins. the most is from 1920 but later i found one with the year 1668. i have to get back there

Best guess that the front field was used as a commons in the day.

And may have served as a farmers market...to a picnic site...games, and what other customary function for church grounds.

Wherever people gather is where you find dropped coins...

Maybe Cru but now I'm feeling unlucky. The church was built in 16 th century and I found only coins of 20 th century. I tried to search near the walls but there were a lot of ferrous signals there and I think it was because of the little stones they used for draining.

Without being on ploughed land, I don't think the AT Pro will reach deep enough for the 16th C, 18th C maybe.
