My biggest silver find since I started detecting last year and I didn't even dig it!

Went to my local Ace Hardware tonight to get some Gorilla glue and when I checked out the young checker mentioned a guy just came in and paid with $9.00 in half dollars and that they don't see many half dollars. I asked her if any were old and she said they were all different and she reached in the drawer and picked them up and dropped them back in. And....I hear the sweet sound of silver! I ask if I can buy them and she says "sure". I get them to my truck and find three 1964 silver and six of the 40% silver dates of 1967, 68 and 69. And I didn't have to dig them!
