Thanks for looking, comments are appreciated especially if you collect pipes too.

Hey Matt,

There's a load of nice ones. My absolute fave is that great Punchinello. Thanks for showing us.

That TD is a beauty, too. You are so fortunate to have found so many whole, or nearly so, examples.

Looks like you had some Irish in the wood pile.

Thanks Surf, punchinello is my favorite too. Here are some bowls I somehow missed posting, and some other diving recovered smalls.

Hey Matt,

There are, apparently, several issues of the Home Rule pipes. There are people, me not being one of them, that can closely date them.

I love the way the old pipes look, even the stems themselves can be pretty neat with their markings on them.Great collection you have there. My mister use to smoke a very ornate Meersham pipe I gave him one year for Christmas.

Great pipes ...make me want to have a good smoke...thanks for shearing .

That is a awesome collection!! I love tavern pipes!

outstanding collection. while I am not a collector of pipes I can sure appreciate them. What is the function of the small protuberance on the bottom of many bowls/stems?
thanks for the show.

bravo

Awesome collection! especially since you found it all. I've found plenty of pieces but no intact ones - yet. Except for some mid 1800s pipes.

I have just recently found a very old pipe I'll have to post pictures on here.

Cool Pipes! I have been collecting pipes since I was 12 {I am 60 now}and started digging pottery dumps in Mogadore Ohio. Your boot pipe is from Mogadore and dates 1880 to 1900. I dug over 18,000 pipes there over the years and have 160+ different types in my collection.

Thanks Indian Steve! I'll have to research Mogadore Ohio pipes now that I have the lead. I took a year off from diving to try land detecting, ATVing and hunting but I hate ticks so back to the rivers for me and my beloved pipes!
ill be posting more as soon as the snow goes...
