Hey all, I've detected my yard a million times and we've only found one old coin in it. Anyway the other night my 5 year old daughter asked if we could metal detect the yard so I said sure, not thinking we would find anything. I got underneath the clothesline and got a crappy but deep signal. One I normally wouldn't have dug but she wanted to dig it so I pinpointed it at 8 inches and we started digging. I finally got the target in my hand and discovered it was a 1900 Indian Head penny...I about soiled my shorts. -Jay

Great find man.I hunt my yard all the time to.But haven't yet dug a coin like that.Few wheat Penny's and clad.

good find Jay :occasion14: those crappy signals can surprise us

Way to go ......bet that girl was a happy camper.:icon_thumleft:

nice find. my 2yr old son loves to go with me and he want me to dig every sound my MD makes :P

Thanks guys, I love when she expresses interest in my favorite hobby. I normally let her man the digger. Also, I'm really starting to like the At Pro...best audio of any detector I have ever heard. You don't even need to look at the screen, you can tell a coin just by the smooth flute like tone.

Nice coin, I think you have a great little metal detecting coach there. When she says dig, man you dig, next time it might be gold.:icon_thumright:
