Managed to scoop up $32.62 in U.S. clad, 4 tokens, 41 foriegn coins a couple more junk earrings that look like fishing lures and 13 rings! 4 14K, 2 10K, 1 .925, 1 SS & 5 junk and a few pieces of silver. The class rings were put in the post by one of my co-workers who had to go north. Have not received any response from the owners yet. Ring # 39 was a 14K wedding band. I stopped to take a smoke and a young fellow asked me if "that was a metal detector?" I said it was. He asked "Does it find gold?" I was tempted to tell him that gold was not a metal but he looked distraught. He said he gave his wedding ring to his wife to hold while he went wind surfing and she dropped it. They were very smart not to disturb the area she dropped it in and I managed to find it within seconds. Nice 14K and they said thanks. I'm not feeling the "warm fuzzy" you guys get returning rings. Returning rings is really cutting into my profit margin/Rolex account. Thanks for looking and good luck hunting.
