Here are my finds from my last two hunts. My favorite five finds are of course the 1862 seated dime. Nice Benedict & Burnham flat button some type of jewelry with a stone. Thought it was gold, might still be, kind of heavy for its size. What looks like a old homemade ring. Last item I like just because I am a bottle person. I am almost certain its a Hutchinson spring stopper from a Hutchinson type bottle. Don't usually find them in that good of shape.. Were there's a stopper there might be some Hutches to be found!! 002.webp 003.webp 004.webp Dime in the hole.001.webp

Still waiting to dig mt first Seated, Congrats

great finds. love the dime :icon_thumleft:

Finding the dime was a "hat trick"... So I was hunting a old rail road bed but the tracks were never laid.. This was done in 1850's sometime. Any way I was going along doing my thing then all of a sudden I spot a pile of bromo seltzer bottles. Can't miss them,, Cobalt Blue bottles from the 1920's the blue stands out like a sore thumb. I figured maybe its a old bottle dump. So I double back about 12 feet because of a tree in my way and bamm.... Found the dime. Second seated for the year and 4th silver coin for the year.

Great finds, Nice seated!

When I flipped the plug over I was thinking .. Yes its a barber. Seated #2 dime of the year.

I have yet to find a seated, I'm looking, sooner or later. Nice finds

Nice seated and the flower button is sweet too! That does resemble a Hutchison type stopper, but it is different than any I have ever dug. I have dug quite a few, and they always had a heavier gauge wire loop and the loop was only connected to the stopper part by one of the wires, not both ends of the wire like yours.
