Hi all,

Just thought I'd share my results of my first 2 hunts of the year. One consisted of mostly a farm field where a house use to stand. That is where I found the bell. The other I located some property that is now owned by the school district but resides in older side of town, that is where the silver Washington was snatched up by yours truly, 8-)

HH all,

Cdub

Nice bell great condition! Nice silver too! At lest your scratched coin wasn't a seated....guilty!

WOW cool bell, nice washington too..

Really like that bell, congrats on a couple nice finds.

Sweet bell ! haven't seen one of those for a long time. Nice Washington, too, and don't sweat the scratches...I recently dug my first Indian Head cent..in excellent condition, and promptly scratched the crap out of it cleaning it, when I shouldve just rinsed it off...ugh. Won't do that again! But thx for sharing..great pics..ddf

Thanks folks,

I didn't scratch the coin though, he's in the same shape he was in before I found him. As far as the bell, I may have scratched that though I'm not entirely certain, as it's been in a field for some time so perhaps it got hit by the plow a time or two. The scratch is on the other side.

HH all!

Very nice bell.......... I found one last year exactly the same.

Nice find.

Did you find those points in the pic on this same hunt too??
