My first 2 hunts of the year

Hi all,

Just thought I'd share my results of my first 2 hunts of the year. One consisted of mostly a farm field where a house use to stand. That is where I found the bell. The other I located some property that is now owned by the school district but resides in older side of town, that is where the silver Washington was snatched up by yours truly,

Sweet bell ! haven't seen one of those for a long time. Nice Washington, too, and don't sweat the scratches...I recently dug my first Indian Head cent..in excellent condition, and promptly scratched the crap out of it cleaning it, when I shouldve just rinsed it off...ugh. Won't do that again! But thx for sharing..great pics..ddf

Thanks folks,

I didn't scratch the coin though, he's in the same shape he was in before I found him. As far as the bell, I may have scratched that though I'm not entirely certain, as it's been in a field for some time so perhaps it got hit by the plow a time or two. The scratch is on the other side.
