Struggled at an 1821 farmhouse, pickings were sparse! Did manage to pull out some silver, 1907 Barber! Also a Lava soap token, couple wheats and this weird Asian souvenir token. Not sure about ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430085115.858829.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430085143.712383.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430085162.487987.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430085190.539144.webp the large bell looking object either...found the bottles in the woods. More area to explore and right down the street from my house. Always thought it was empty, finally stopped and a little old lady named Teddy lives there. Brought her some brownies : ),

Nice bunch of finds, congrats on the silver!

Good hunt. Got my first barber this weekend also.

Congrats on the finds. Some of them old farm properties can be full of trash/junk. I bought a sniper coil for those kind of sites. Do you do older farms often?

Hey Loco, so far I've only detected two, on multiple occasions. I do like them but as you said, lots of junk! What does a sniper coil do?

It is a smaller coil which may help you finding the treasure among all the trash/junk. I have a 5 inch double d coil for places like that. other wise you may have to dig a whole lot of trash to uncover (unmask) the good targets if you are swinging a big coil.

Well I will keep that in mind for sure. Thanks for the tip! I have an Etrac and no additional coils at the moment.

Sorry forgot to quote you : )

Congrats on your first Barber. My first silver ever was a 1900 Barber dime. I love digging those !

My first was a 1917 Mercury In my own yard. It's so exciting when you see that shine. There was a worm slithering across it lol. Good day!
