Went to the woods yesterday. Beautiful day for MDing in Chicago. Went back to a new site I have been exploring lately and that had been giving older wheaties and a 1916 Buffalo. Well, yesterday was the turn of silver and after a few hours in the site, I got a weak silver signal, not too clear, but I dig everything in the woods, ya know. Eight inches down I unearthed MY VERY FIRST 1916 BARBER DIME :headbang: . After being buried in the dark for so long, I found that it wasn't a lonely after all. It had the company of a well preserved 1900 Indian Head :laughing9: I could not believe that the day before I chatted with a folk who asked me if I had found any Barbers yet. Well, the very next day I hit it! I hope to find some more soon! :dontknow:

Congrats on your first Barber, could have been a small pocket spill.

Yes, it was. Actually my second spill. The first one was 2 silver Washington quarters, 3 Mercuries and one Rosie. Can't wait to go back and find more Barbers! Thanks for looking
