Today I made a short hunt out at the old school where I found my oldest coin (1888 Indian Head) and my Austrailian Florin. Today I found my first good round ball, followed by my second and third in about a two square foot area. I also found a couple of wheaties and an advertizing token. It was muggy since it had just rained and I forgot to bring anything to drink, so called it quits after about two hours.

After cooling off I headed out to an old church and cemetery. The grounds keeper pointed me over to the oldest portion of the cemetery where I landed my first Civil War button. Or at least I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

Yep. That's a Civil War General Service eagle button. My first as well!
