No its about a foot long ? My pictures are too small. I am headed to my daughters home in Faison NC. Her historical home was once used for a Civil War Hospital. Just walking the land before without a detector I have found some cool stuff. Hope I come home today with some Treasure !!

Nice relics. That foot long whatzit may be some kind of stake tie down, from the look of it. Of course that is only a wild guess on my part.

Thank you I had hope to find some Civil War buttons or maybe an old coin or two, did find 11 cents in my yard !! but today seems to have been an rusty iron day for me !! Not to mention the blisters on my knees > forgot the gloves > blisters in the palm > my shoulders feel broke from swinging the detector back and forth !! OH and the digging in hard soil !!

Nick I need all the luck I can get !! Today was mostly a farm impliment day for me !! Some sights I had to quit on > the soil was just to hard !!
