Ace 250
Well the Ups man showed up this afternoon with my Ace 250. I didn't get to have As much time to practice as I wanted. I only had about 30 minutes and at least 10 of that was trying to get the composit digging tool to do anything. I ended up using a garden trowel. I ended up with a roofing nail, some kind of tin, twist off Dr.Pepper lid, and a clad dime. I think I did OK with only having about 20 minutes to actually do anything. Hoping to find more tomorrow during more practice runs.

alright start!!! less junk u will find later.. and hope to see some good finds from ya!!! MR TUFF

I hope! I was kinda shocked to actualy find any kind of coin. The most trouble I had was with the composit digging tool which was just plastic and I was afraid I was going to brake it trying to get it into the ground. Guess I will make a trip to lowes to see if they have something better to use.

Check out the "True Temper" tool at Lowes. It's stainless steel, one side is serrated and the other side has a cutting notch. I have been using mine for over a year without any problem. I think it is about $18.00.

Will look into that. Thanks for the information!

Congrats on your first dig! I had mine about a week or so ago and have only found 2 pennies so far. You're up on me by eight cents. Looking forward to reading more of your posts to see how you are doing. I am just learning myself.

Good Luck with the Ace...

If you are interested in a tool that will dig you a nice plug with little effort, you might consider the Lesche...It's a little pricey for a digging tool, but I've been using mine for well over 15 years...

I'm not affiliated with Lesche or this Amazon seller, just the first link that came up when I Googled it.....
