Fantastic finds all! The eagle breastplate is a real looker! Great job.

WOW-- She is pretty!! Congrats on your first Breast Plate!! Cool Williams bullet and also that one Minnie ball looks like it might be carved!! Love those personalized items like that!

Congrats!

Nice looking one too!

Awesome that breast plate is in very nice condition...

You have a lot of quality finds for just an hour's hunt! The one 3 ringer does look to be carved. Great hunt.

Awesome find IHPI! That's a banner find imo!

Thanks fellas, I was amazed how nice its condition was....everything I dug was in pin pointers reach, less than an inch or so under the surface.

One other thing I thought was cool was the 3 ringer style near the top, that thing is huge...much bigger than the traditional 3 ringers I pull out. I really needed a hunt like this, it's been a very slow season finding things. Lots of time in the woods with nearly no luck.

Very nice plate. Congrats on the sweet hunt!

Congrats on the plate it's a real beauty.

Wow! Looks like a brand new one! That place has to be loaded with the goods if you pulled all that in an hour. Is that from private land? Looks like your the first one in the door! Congrats!

What State are you hunting ?
The Federal breast plate has great eye appeal .
Congrats

Sorry, idiot newbie here, what was a breastplate used for? Looks in great condition. Congrats

The location is in VA CMDiamonddawg, It still blows my mind on this hunt, since I started MD'ing I've been picking up scraps and left overs from other detectorist....long time coming, there is a ton of property out there to hunt.

Lemonman breast plates were attached to a leather strap and worn by soldiers to protect their hearts. Often they were discarded by soldiers because shiny, they were a perfect target for Confederate soldiers to aim at. Great breastplate I hate poison ivy. I found two of those huge bullets myself yesterday, wil post pics when I get my finds cleaned.

Look forward to seeing Coilygirl, those big ones must of had a hell of kick when fired! Hehe

Man that's the place , Virginia is a Metal Detecting Paradise !
Continued Success Ihatepoisonivy
and I take heed of the message in your name .That kind of ivy is bad news ! Your monkey or gorilla looks friendly :munky2:
