Awesome finds! Congrats!!

Nice hunt...that IS in great shape! WTG!!

Yeah I met her in the woods CMDiamond ( gorilla in profile) , she is a great hunting partner lol

The location is in VA CMDiamonddawg, It still blows my mind on this hunt, since I started MD'ing I've been picking up scraps and left overs from other detectorist....long time coming, there is a ton of property out there to hunt.

Takes a while to figure out where others have NOT hunted, but once you find your niche it's game on. :)

That's a great plate there. They aren't found in that nice condition very often anymore. Makes me think this was maybe a find from a wooded area.

Killer finds--now go back for more!

nice finds. I have only dug two breastplates in the last 10 years. mine were chipped and roached. you got real lucky with the condition. Most nowadays are pretty rough. looks like it was an awesome day of hunting. congrats!

Yes the area is wooded on a hill side with a pasture full of cows below. Ground is frozen so it doesn't make things cake, have to be careful not to damage the relics.

Very nice find and in such good condition! I'm sure you'll go back and hammer that location. We don't have poison ivy out here but poison oak is just as bad!

Beautiful find in great condition. Congratulations to you. I have a friend with lots of land in Virginia. One day I might make the trip.

Great find thanks for sharing,

Congrats on your first breastplate, its a beauty. And nice carved bullet. Good luck on your next trip there. You probably just hit the tip of the iceberg.

Thanks fellas, I'm super excited about this location, any tips on cleaning the brass on the breast plate or should I just leave it alone?

I wouldn't touch it anymore but that is just me. Y

Nice plate and in great condition, congratulations!
