my first finds of 2016

Decided to walk the neighbor's corn field today while I was out freshening up our mineral licks for the deer. I walked about 20 minutes and found these two beauties. the little blunt scraper has great flaking on it. Although the knife was broke, it is still a good one.

Oh I plan to go back. Just hoping that they break the field again. I am thinking they will have to because it has a lot of grass and weeds growing in it. I found the scraper in a small bare spot in one of the corn rows.

You would think they could give it a plow but here they just spray the weeds then after they die they plant. I never really see the soil till Oct-Nov till the weeds grow back unless we get a early winter. The past winter was warm so the weeds are very thick this year. Hope you can go find something before they plant.
