In a farm field, about 50 yards from the front door of an 1821 home which is still occupied. Also found a seated dime and a buncha coppers, 1797 was the earliest. Owner told me that several others had detected and found stuff. Never hunted out I guess.Beauty. What kind of area or site was it found on?
Thanks pirate. I used to post here way back when we were swinging analog machines. Now that I've gone digital I think I've got more interesting stuff to share.Congrats and welcome to Tnet!
It's a little smaller than a dime and thinner. Solid 24 on the equinox, thought I had a copper pennyIt's in really nice condition. Most of the few small Spanish silvers I have found are worn nearly smooth. A half-real must be tiny, like a 3 cent silver maybe?
Congrats. Here’s to many more!
Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!
