my central illinois vacation treasure hunting trip continues to produce. i had a dry spell of about 5 days. the annual festival days was this past weekend. i figured i'd hit the park n pick up what change had been dropped over the weekend. i found 1 quarter, 2 dimes and a nickle. then i hit paydirt, out popped an 1892 indian head penny. i was doing the happy dance, that is for sure. i've got about 15 days left on this vacation, so wish me luck. my newest adventure is a cornfield that is the site of a town that existed in th early 1900's. scouting the area we found a butt-ton of broken pottery and pieces of corktop bottles. i am itching to find me a gold coin.
HH,
