The class ring is 1942 from a high school nearby. There are initials on it so I am going to try to find the owner. Considering the age, that may be a long shot.

Nice find. I found a high school ring of the same year but no initials. Congrats.

That is great that you will try to find the owner, veryy cool and good job in finds.

Just an update on the class ring. I mailed it to the owner a couple days ago after speaking with him on the phone. he is an 88yr old WW2 marine veteran and lives in Wyoming. He was 17 when he lost it so he didnt remember exactly what it looked like. he said he will compare it to the ring of a friend who graduated with him and send it back if it isnt his. we are pretty sure its his because the school records only show one person that graduated in 1942 with the initials T.S. that were on the ring. He is very nice and couldnt believe I took time to find him. Should get a phone call when he gets it in a couple of days.

Congratulations on your first ring...both the gold and the silver! :icon_thumleft:

Sweet finds !
