My first silver coin..my next find was a MERC!

Hello all. I was detecting near and old library and I finally find my first silver coin which was a beautiful 1953 Rosie. My very next find less than four feet away was a 1945 Mercury dime! It looked as though it got clipped by a lawn mower but I was thrilled anyway! Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Now just look at those two coins. The merc is SOOOO much prettier then that plain Jane Roosevelt dime. Don't get me wrong, I like finding any silver coin but will take a merc over a Roosevelt any day of the week. Great finds.
