My first silver coin! ...not

I thought today was the day i recovered my first silver coin it was a dime about 4 inches deep. being blind and not having my glasses on all I knew was it was shinny must be silver lol. When I got home put my specs on guess what a 1992 4 inches deep.....REALLY pffffftt with the snows coming Im giving up hope of finding one. with all the wheats and indian heads and even a 1845 large cent one would think the ground could give up one thin silver dime witch is the reason i took up this hobby . still having fun doing it found alot of cool stuff but man i read about all the other noobs finding silver on the first day lol. Oh well Happy digging !!

Nice finds! Stick with it, you'll find silver soon, especially with all the other oldies popping out. There's certainly nothing wrong with a large cent either.

I dont know but my guess is from some musical instrument

yep, they are organ reeds.

Stick with it, the silver will come. I remember thinking the exact same thing. Trust me, you're pulling old stuff out, the silver will come.
