It was a ugly wet day today in Ohio and I had to drag myself out of bed...but it was about 45 degrees so I wanted to get some hunting in before the snow starts flying. I went to an older city park with some huge trees and found my first SILVER COIN !!!! It is a 1875 Seated Liberty dime and it looks to be in nice shape. I was thrilled when I pulled it out of the hole. I knew it was silver but thought it was from the 30s or 40s. I waited to clean it up until I got home and WOW this is so COOL ! I had 18 cents in clad and a bag full of pull tabs but I will now be hooked on this hobby even more. I think the winter is going to kill me. Thanks for letting me share
I would post a picture but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. It has been a great day but now its time to head to work. Merry Christmas to me...and all of you as well.
