My first silver coin!

[washingtonian]

Went hunting for around 2 hours today and here are the keepable finds. 7 memorial cents, 3 clad roosevelts, a 1951 s Franklin half (my first silver coin), a button with "Gloria Vanderbilt" written on it, and a piece of metal with some sort of inscriptions on it. Thanks for looking and HH

Wow! Great find, and congratulations on your first silver. I have been at this for 30 years and silver is still a thrill to see in the dirt. My first one was a 1939 Mercury Head dime, I found it in the dirt driveway at the home I grew up in, that was 1978.

Here's to many more silvers in your future!
