I got this beautiful Louisiana State seal at a location in Louisiana not far from the lead bale seals I posted earlier.

Oh man. That thing is in excellent condition. Ive always wanted to dig a LA pelican button. Very nice.

Thanks! I had a great time digging at that site this year. I also found a breast plate and a VMI button there. I'll post the back. I looked it up and it's an 1850s manufacturer from New York.
