Great job trust me not Many in Mi either that's really cool you found a good spot hope you find lots more congrats

If you found three, there are more to be found there. The Williams bore cleaner bullet is a nice bullet to find anywhere.

Very nice. Congratulations :icon_thumright:

Any time you can save a great piece of American history is always exciting!! Nice job :icon_thumright:

Congratulations on 3 cool CW bullets. I still love digging them even though I have found quite a few. You got a good permission and I hope you get to go back. Welcome to the CW bullet club. Keep swingin.

Hopefully, there’s a confederate button or better waiting on you out there! Good luck.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice finds, hopefully another invite will be forthcoming shortly.

Congrats and good luck.

Great finds, and don't worry about the vet hunters, they get excited too! I love three ringers.

Congrats, you'll never forget your first!

Yes i'm excited each and every time I dig even a 'Suspect' CW period .31 .36. .44 fired balls.

I still enjoy wheat cents , heck i'm happy when I find copper cents.

I wish you many more. P.S. Were these found in water or a wet area?

You know it JBnNC.

Hope the OP does not become obsessed as finding CW History is VERY Addictive.!

Yes, they were in a salt water marshy area. How can you tell?

Not silly at all. Great finds buddy, especially for TX.

That's 3 more 3-ringers than I have! I have 0 3-ringers to my name haha. Way to go!

Congrats on your first 3 ringers! I know the feeling because they are very rare in CT, yet I've happened upon a few in my travels.

They show a very light patina ( Not white or brownish -white) when found in water or wet areas . Some Bullets like my Burnside's tend to 'flake' their patina easily even with a soft toothbrush .

Great finds & Knowing where they came from is very important IMO.
