Went out to a new field and scanned around just to see if there was anything in it. Turns out there was a couple good items. Found my first token. I think it's aluminum, and it's in rough shape. Been hit by a plow a few times looks like. It says, "Good for 5 cents in merchandise, 'Billiard Room', Southern Hotel, Elizabeth City N.C." I couldn't find anything online about the token and how old it was. I think the hotel it's referring to was built in the mid-late 1800's though. Could be a late 19th century token!
Also found a button which has a concave back on it. Not sure how old, but it looks old. Also found the 1945 silver war nickel. There was a lot of junk found too, but I'll take the results for the 1.5 hours I was out there.
