My First Week's Finds With My Whites MXT!!!

Hi everyone.

On January 14th I bought the Whites MXT!!!!! The Whites MXT is my third metal detector. With the MXT I am hoping to detect deeper and increase my amount of finds. I got it for a great deal, and it came along with a free Bullseye II Pin Pointer and a pair of headphones. Throughout the week, I tested my MXT out in my yard and I made a few cool finds. I'm loving the MXT so far, but I'm sure I've still got a lot to learn!

Dale's right. The D2 is perfect for relic hunting in open areas. The 6x10 is better for trashier, tight areas. Skip the 12" coil. It will wear you out very quickly and I don't think its much deeper than the D2. The MXT is a real work horse. There are other machines that will go deeper, but the MXT can hold its own. It's a solid machine. I've dug bullets at 8 inches.
