Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I started metal detecting this year. I bought a Whites Coinmaster GT. Couldn't wait for winter to end and the ground to thaw. My fourth target was toning out as a nickel/dime and was showing a depth of three inches. I dug a neat plug, moved a little dirt and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Did I really just find a gold coin? Even after looking at more closely I still thought it was play money coin of some kind. It seemed too good to be true. I immediately left and headed home to inspect it under magnification. When I seen what was written on it and I verified what I found through the Internet, well lets just say I was ecstatic. I've been out every day since , have found more gold (jewelry) but the fact the 1/10 oz Krugerrand came out of only my fourth hole amazes me. I love this hobby

I found a 1/10th oz American Eagle once-- looked like it had fallen out of a pendant. Yours looks a lot nicer. Congrats!

My fourth tone was my fourth pull tab.
