HE tells me He wants to celebrate his birthday
But, he doesn't want any gifts. HE'd rather GIVE
gifts than receive them. :icon_scratch:

HE even had me finish up today with a classic!

"On the way back to the car........"

Not ONLY on His birthday! What a guy! :)

Blingie was SOUND asleep, started hibernating! But when Fishy told him about
this HUGE shiny, shiny, well.......you can see! ;)

Thing is , Blingie was so caught up in his tree,
he missed this altogether! :)

My friend also gave me another present today.
A BEEEYOOOTIFUL DAY! At one point I was
tempted to go hunt in the shade! LOLOL

Hope your day was as nice!

Thanks for peeking!

You do know the shiny tree is a trumpet or coronet mouthpiece I hope. Nice write up again

What would your friend's name happen to be? :tongue3:

Nice WHADIFIND!

Nice finds for a beautiful day, I got sunburn.

Glad you got out,
A couple of nice saves.
Congratulations

Nice finds Whadi. That looks like a very nice ring you pulled. If Blingie put on some weight, you could have made it a new collar for him !

Beautiful here also, congrats on your finds and thanks for your entertaining posts

As always, I enjoy your hunts, photos and of course cool finds! :occasion14:

HE has a name. We tend to refer to HIM by many names. Even those who say they don't believe.

If you don't see that, just be standing near to someone and have the ground start to shake.
I guarantee you they will look up and say "O M G !!!" LOLOLOL

My friend and I have an understanding. We try not to be formal. We refer to each other as friend.
Just like any BFF, names are rarely used. They're just not a big concern. We don't use names here, just tags and
there are many, many friends. When I do talk with my friend, I usually just start and HE listens.
Might be wrong, but Jesus understands. :)

At least, that's the one I use when I sing happy birthday to him. :)

Nice guy! He's my friend too.

Awesome hunt Whadi! Excellent pics! Thanks for sharing with us!

Similar tokens replaced cash/quarters at carnival type amusements.
You made quite a haul!
Congrats.

Congrats on those finds Whadi. :occasion14: The season is winding down and here you are pulling all that bling. Are you still using your new method or are you back to covering more ground?

Thanks!

I was never one to try and cover a lot of ground with any speed. I always figured that it was like painting a field with an 8.5 x 11 inch paint brush. Easy enough to do when it's a 6' x 10' wall. But, not so easy when the wall is hundreds of acres ! :)

I will always use my "technique". It has been serving me well. These finds took approximately 4.5 hours and in one school ground. I'm seeing that most people who hunt do not spend enough concentrated time in one field. In order to "cover" ground, one has got to listen VERY carefully to everything that's being detected. THAT....takes quite some time. I try to stay in tune with my friend from the time I'm deciding where to go all the way until I'm finished for the day. That feeling of being "led" to a spot as opposed to going where *I* think things might be, has been the source of my success.

Go with the gut, BUT, ALWAYS check with HIM first to see where He wants to go. :)

Oh my! Scooby! I missed this question! Yeah, I figured it after I got it out but man! It was silver and shiny like this while in the ground. All I saw was a VERY large shiny silver something appearing! What a thrill! LOL

Thanks!

I'm just happy Blingie didn't decide to start a pole dance! ;)

Oh my goodness! Lol! Now that would be quite the sight! Blingie doing a pole dance! I had to laugh out loud! Thats when the tail comes in handy!

That was a very nice walk this time of year, congrats!
Glad your getting alot of good guidance.

For what ever reason "He" has decided i need to stay home, so stay i shall, till told otherwise.
There is a good reason i'm sure, but i'm just not aware of what it is.

Very glad i can check in from time to time! [emoji4]
