My frist dollar find

my small amount of finds for yesterday. found a first for me a small Dollar coin. I went to a ball field close by and found all modern coins 11 cents, 2 nickels, 2 dimes, 1 Quarter, my first 2010 James Buchanan dollar coin, also a pull knob windy and 40 degrees did not hunt long the round pull knob was a surprise find at the ball field

Congrats on your first Dollar coin. You might want to look into that ball field a little closer. With an old door knob like that, there may have been an older home that sat there before the ball field came along. That actually happened to me once. I found an old door knob backing plate, and a skeleton key at a baseball field. After some research, I found out there was an old home that sat there first. I continued to hunt the place, and hit my own "home run" by doing so ! Lots of old coins came out of that area, which sat on a huge corner lot, and I mean huge. I was actually hunting on the perimeter of the 3 fields for a few years before the signals wound down.
