Hi everyone. I have never really introduced myself but I am a 17 year old bottle collector. I have been collecting since 2012. I am also on the Antique Bottle Forum. I dig a little bit from time to time and have had some really good luck around here. Anyway these are the squat sodas or transitional type bottles that I have been able to gather up in the last few years. Hope you enjoy. I will also be posting the rest of my collection on here hopefully this week.

Here are my 2 half gallon picnic beers. Both are common and not rare but they are nice. There are quite a few of these from Illinois and some are very expensive.

Awesome ! If you have a display you can post it on my thread---[man cave]---nice collection :icon_thumleft:

I have a few displays actually. Thank you this is only a fraction of my collection. I will post on it tomorrow. Thanks!

You are 17 and this is only a fraction of your collection? Impressive. Most people your age are not into collecting artifacts. What got you started at such a young age?

My dad. He dug bottles as a kid back in the 1970's and he just loves antiques. So I take after him I guess. My grandma also loves antiques so it is in my blood. I have collected quite a few things but never held onto any except for coins and bottles. Yes I am only 17 and this is just a taste of my collection. I will be posting more of it on here tomorrow. Thank you for your kind words Bass!

You are welcome. Glad to see the younger generation on here. By the way, those are some nice bottles. That age is hard to come by in my neck of the woods

Yeah I don't know any other kids my age around here that collect bottles. Some of my friends do collect stuff surprisingly. Illinois has a lot of squats it's just that they never show up for sale and when they do they are hard to get. Thank you again. The best bottles are still to come. Tomorrow will be my top shelf bottles and some whiskies.

I bought that one at a School house antique mall in Hixton Wisconsin 3 years ago on our way to Minnesota for vacation. It says Paul Rouze California Pop with a star in the middle. Bought it for $16. The place was huge and every room had 100's of bottles it was overwhelming. Thank you plummy! I would have a picture of a Peoria squat but the moron packed it in a box with newspaper and now it is in shards. A beautiful dark aqua Fellrath squat.

P.S. That squat is from Chicago

Nice job with the pics...

Thanks epac it is like the only place in the house that I can actually get a good turn out on my pictures.

Nice group of sodas! Good to see your still collecting.
