Hello all ! Its been a while since ive posted so Ill do it as I can.Its been an ok year so far. Ive been digging more relics this year and it pretty cool. Ive Been working at at house that was built circa 1890, one of the 1st houses built there. While talking with owner ,I asked for permission to detect. She said sure. I came back another day and started detecting. The owners husband was on the front porch.I walked up and explained what I was there for.I started to explain "our" neat little grass plug hole thing. He smiled and said " are you kidding me?" Its grass, In dont care itll grow back, Now go have some fun. OK!! I was on it. Ive hit the place 3 times here are the coins from them. The 1st trip netted me 3 wheats from the 50s, 52 rosie, a 43-P war nickle and a plastic grocery bag 3/4 full of trash. I headed back to my truck and the man is still on his porch. I walk up and show him my finds. He thought it was crazy to work for the finds like we do.HEHE. I then show him the bag thinking he ll be glad. He says throw that *&^% back in the hole, you dont havta take outta here,LOL.Ididnt want to explain all the reasons why I NEED to take it out.
Hunt 2 was good also.Finds are 2 iron rings 1-1/4 round and a big buckle. I think are bridal harness rings and a saddle buckle(will get pics up later). This was not a farmed area so Im guessing transportation horses.Coins were 4 wheats, 46 rosie, 188? holed indian head cent, that day the trade dollar thing, another 3/4 trash bag. The dollar coin bout rung my ears off. I figured just like always I was diggin a sqaushed aluminum can. Down 5" was this big disc.I grabbed it and knew from weight that I found a silver dollar.I wiped the dirt away and see Asian writing on and American writing? What the heck is this? To the best I can tell from the net is that its a Japan 9 Meiji Coin, made from 1870- 77. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Hunt 3 went well also. Another area that I thought I covered well Yielded a 40 washington, and an 188? holed indian head penny, and 1/2 bag trash.

Thanx for lookin, jimmy
