My latest finds

Well here are some of my latest finds. The Long lookin piece is the horse bridel, or thats what it looks like at least. There is a bolt looking piece i found near the bridle, maybe it is a bit? The middle part is iron, but the "nut" looking part is either bronze or copper. Kind of interesting. The little wrapper is "trash" but it was a packet of coffee creamer out of us army field rations. Doesn't look like the ones I use, so it may be older. I have a picture of odds and ends.. like a cow bell, old scissiors, etc. I found some nails and bolts as usual. The nail looks old and is square all the way down the shaft. I also found a button, no details on it, just smooth and the size of a quarter. Maybe it is Prussian? I found it close to the horse bridel. My favorite things I found were the 2 musket balls (i love finding those), a NICE piece of grape shot (my first), and the hunk of cannon ball!! I hope to find a whole one soon... but the piece is going into the cabinet with my other good finds. I think I am going hunting tomorrow.. I hope I find something. Enjoy the pictures!

Nice finds...I love finding musketballs too but am having little luck~!

Musket balls are always fun bec you know you are on the right track of where the battle was.. or was going. The grape shot and cannon balls are a bit harder to find.. that why I cherish mine so much. thanks for checkin out my stuff. I am going out tomororw.. maybe I will find more stuff
