After seeing fraxinus idea for the LED set up I made my own, which worked very well. But since I had two LED's I decided to take even a step further. Even with the cover on the housing the LED's are still very visible. I used an audio Y-plug, 1/4" male split into two 1/8" female, a stereo plugs on all ends. I am not sure if the plug needs to be stereo, the 90 degree bend was so I just made sure this was.
Here is the Y-plug.
LED's at the bottom of the housing near the end of the foam handle.
Here is the LED's lit up. Doesn't matter if your right of left handed. The LED's are lit under the Pinpoint mode.
Picture with the cover off. Even though I used only wire ties, the LED's do not move. Actually, they are very well out of the way.
With the cover on, its hardly noticeable.
