I picked this little guy out of Suicide Creek BC in 1979 while out camping, there he was just looking at me laying on the gravel as the waters rushed by, I grabbed it and saved it from a tragic end. So now it has been part of my life for 36 yrs this fall, sits on my desk where ever I go, watches to make sure things are right I believe, my little gargoyle. Some may wonder how it became, I think it was a root ball from a small tree, worn down by water and time. Thought many times as I rub, or hold him in the hand that it would make a nice head on a walking stick as it would wear nicely as it's hard as rock from time.

That's Cool! I have my little bear that keeps an eye out on the front porch.

Awesome find. Amazing what mother nature can do over time.

Very cool, Suicide Creek, eh? Northern Interior, near the Alaskan HWY?

They have another name of this creek system also known as Norrish Creek, near Dewdney east of Mission BC.

You have an eye for the odd just like me. I plucked this from the Susquehanna River several years ago.
