My uncle found this in an out buliding at his cottage near Kingston Ontario Canada a couple years ago.
Not sur ewhat deal was worked out but it was given to me as a gift from him and my parents this past spring during my yearly visit to Lexington Virginia.
Finally decided how I would go about mounting it.TAA DAA!.
its a little rought but hey it survived the war of 1812 and the civil war.
Pround to have her on display!

That is sweet and an awesome gift too. It looks to be a percussion cap rifle and not a flint lock.
