My Most Ridiculous Epic Coinstar Find Ever

I walk into Publix after work, last minute Valentines gifts on my list...
Before I get to shopping, I mosey on over to my neighborhood reject tray, and I see a shiney!

I reach in, and I feel two coins.... the nickel, I suppose was denied due to a rough edge, I’ll take it!..... but the other coin?.....

WHAT THE WHAT?



At first glance, I saw big copper.... King Someone on a old school foreign......



Once my failing eyesight locked on to the reverse, I knew I was having Italian tonight!...
1867!!!

I’d like to thank the Coinstar Gods for their gift, as I really needed a win after some personal drama.... (all is well, I’m just surrounded by idiots.)

BTW I found a Maduro by Esteban Carrera called a Chupa Cabra its a 60 ring gauge and is very delicious (Beyond its price point) Hunt one down and check it out!

Sweet score Dave. I found mine in the mail back in 2015 from a friend I made here on Tnet. I sent him an Indian head and a Merc. (sort of a Christmas exchange)

I dug a very badly worn 5 centisimi at an old cabin location that I've hit several times. Date was worn, but the coin was minted from 1861-1867 and it had a Naples mint mark. Yours is in awesome shape! Congrats!
