I LOVE IT. It is fantastic after a day or I should say couple hr search. It did pick up things missed by my XT70 or I was just more alert. :tongue3:
NOW, everything said here is true. The threshold is kinda unstable BUT, THANKS to all here, I know how to stabilize it and it was no problem. The knobs, tuff to turn and I can see them loosing up in the future but, I LOVE IT.
I CAN'T WAIT TO HIT THE SURF :hello2:

To save wear and tear on turning off the Excalibur, I simply unplug the battery connection. Go hunt areas that had a lot of iron that your XT70 probably discriminated out good targets. The Excalibur does not recognize iron so new finds are always possible.
