My Teknetics Omega had a nervous breakdown last Friday 
(I worked her too hard!) Well, I'll see what I can do about that since I bought it a year ago august slightly used on ebay, so I doubt the warrantee will be honored. Have to call First texas and see what the deal will be . Anyway, I figured nows the time to upgrade so I don't lose any detecting time. I was down to either a Fisher F70 or Minelab Xterra 705. Bart gave me great information which helped me decide what was best choice for me as they're both excellent choices. I've been watching videos and studying the manual
cause it is a lot more sophisticated a machine than is the Omega, and I want to hit the ground running when it gets here (hopefully in time for the weekend)
