I was not really happy with the camera I had, so I decided to look into a new camera. It will take a little while to master it. Here are a couple of old buttons I thought I would try to see how they might turn out. The first button is quite old, it is about an inch across, the second I was told 1820 or so. HH

No tripod, I bought the Canon Power shot SX130 IS, 12 x 15. I bought another camera the other night, it was a really nice camera, 14 mp, 18 power zoom, but the camera would not allow me to change the mp. size to post on here, so I took it back and bought the canon.

Yeap the first Dandy is circa 1780s, nice to find, even over here :icon_thumright:

It is amazing what we can find playing in the dirt, I truly love this hobby, the history never stops coming. In the early days there were many American settlers that came this way, & they brought along their goodies. I have been busy with many projects this spring, There are many options for detecting, there is one township near here that had alot of 1812 officers and the like that settled there. I am looking at some of the people that stayed on their land until 1878, I have about 8 or so. I am hoping for a belt plate but first I need the land owners okay first. I will post any finds and stories as soon as I get out there asking for permission. HH
