My nicest half Cent yet!

[shawninNY]

I attend an event called lost treasure weekend in the Catskills for the last 6 years , the seeded hunts are fun , but the natural finds can be Amazing! 1795 Half Cent plain edge variety , found right on the property of the resort where it's held, 1/2 reale was dug from same area about 4 years ago! Great find and sounds like a fun event! I would have been so happy haha

Fantastic find!! I'm surprised there aren't more comments about this coin- it's rather rare as it is, never mind being in the great condition that it is. My half-cents were so much worse. Congrats & Continued success to you!

Congrats on a nice find! Also, a special congrats for finding it on lands that have been well worked over for many years! If you clean it up a little bit, please post some pics of both the Oberse and Reverse.
