I have found all kinds of things with it .

Great job! I just started metal detecting this year, and it has been about two months now. I keep finding older coins and I love it. Keep up the good work.

Yeah there were two in the same hole one was 1960 though 1930 was very worn
 
I just started I need to get use to the tones headphones have helped at the beach where it is windy. Picking spots seems to be another thing that is learned over time

Yes, virgin sites are ideal if you can hunt one.

Wow, Very nice! Like rykroll said, the 1909 is the first year of the wheat penny. Where did you dig it at?
 
I went to this old grave yard and walked the edges and found it in the parking area.

Yes they also made Indian head pennies that year.

I think there use to be a church near there that burned down will investigate that next week maybe
