Sorry all it's been awhile since my last post. Still hunting my backyard, but I upgraded my tracker IV to an AT pro and also purchased a propointer. Haven't had a lot of time to post so I'm lumping my hunts so far this season. (And in MN the season is short!) This is a collection of pics from my ''keepers'' this summer. First of all my oldest coins so far... a 1899 and 1901 V nickels

A 1924 mercury dime

Getting closer to finding gold.... a Lutheran sunday school pin marked 1/10th 10kgf...so close.

Also found the lid to the gold plated pocket watch I found last summer, very decorated. Again so close...

really thought I had gold this time....
Nope, napier costume jewelry.
Found a plane that crashed, obvious trouble with the landing gear.

A neat button with a horse and lion.
Cherub charm on a gold plated straight pin, charm is stamped copper in two halves.
I have also found a LOT of broken glass in the holes that I've been digging here a couple of bottles that survived.

Not sure on the age of this necklace, but thought it was worth keepin.
Sore throat anyone? Found an old tin of Vicks, opened it and it still has some in it. Even smells like vicks still!

An old cones boss railroad button.
All this didn't come easy............LOTS of holes dug this summer and over three 5 gallon buckets full of trash and other relics that didn't make the cut.
Here's an update on all the ''good'' coins from my yard to date. Enjoy and happy hunting everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
